In principle, each bank is required to run the company functions effectively and efficiently and to mitigate risks to gain the maximum benefit and to realize the company's long-term plans. The research objective to be achieved is to determine whether the fee-based income and net interest income effect on return on assets in commercial banks owned by the Government of Indonesia.
To demonstrate and describe the state of the object of research, this study uses descriptive analysis, and to seek the truth of the hypothesis, this study uses a quantitative approach to analysis through verification with statistical methods by using two independent variables, namely fee-based income and net interest income as well as a variable bound, namely return on assets.
Statistical analysis showed that the variable fee based income together have an influence and a positive relationship to return on assets, and a variable fee based income and the effect it has a positive relationship to return on assets. While partially not have had a significant effect but is known to have a positive relationship to return on assets.
