The present study will investigate the use of Kahoot as the free game-based learning platform which provides the students with ongoing feedback on their learning progresses. Reviewing the students’ vocabulary will be the focus of this study. Unlike summative test that tends to have formal assessment to the students, Kahoot will show and promote engagement, and it also makes the teaching more responsive and more informed. Comments, self-test and content revised will be included immediately in the platform of Kahoot. In term of student’s vocabulary mastery review, using Kahoot will gauge their learning especially in reviewing the vocabulary with the unlimited of sources. Blended learning method would be applied technically in this study so that the students interaction with the course content will happen in the Kahoot platform especially in vocabulary review. The study is based on a questionnaire survey conducted to determine the interested of using technology; Kahoot as a free-based learning platform. The 20 students of University of Muhammadiyah Tangerang from Holmesglen English class will be the population and samples.
